How to Get a Boyfriend to Stop Breaking Up with You – 3 Steps to Save Your Troubled Relationship

Are you looking for ways to get a boyfriend to stop breaking up with you?  Have you noticed that things are not the same between you and him?  Are you going out of your mind from thinking that he might leave you?  If your answer is yes, don’t worry.  You can stop the relationship from getting worse.

Doubts may swirl in your mind when you notice small changes in his behavior.  Maybe he doesn’t say he loves you as much as he does.  Or maybe he seems more distant or too busy to spend time with you.  You hope it’s just your imagination, yet there’s that nagging feeling that something’s up.  If you want to get a boyfriend to stop breaking up with you, then you’re going to have to calm down and think rationally.

Why?  Because if you let these thoughts and emotions get in the way, you might end up doing something you’ll regret.  Without knowing it, you’ll get into his personal space.  You’ll start to nag him, ask him questions about where he’s been and what he’s been up to.  In other words, you’ll end up being a controlling and obsessive girlfriend.  If you become paranoid, you become depressed and a depressed person is not fun to be around with.

However, being too complacent or too relax won’t do you any good either.  If you don’t do something about it or just let things be, then you could end up losing him.  You need to be able to read the signs that trouble is brewing:
  • Your boyfriend spending less time with you could be a sign that he’s losing interest in you.
  • Unlike before, he’s not as anxious to tell you about what’s going on with him and he seems uninterested to hear about your life.
  • He seems preoccupied and you don’t share funny experiences or laugh a lot like you used to.
If you noticed these things, then you should be on the alert.  But refrain from forcing the issue.  There could be a lot of maybes he.  Like maybe he’s just worried about work, he’s under a lot of pressure and he can’t give you all his attention.  Here are some steps to take if you think your relationship is in trouble:

1.    Don’t badger him and get into his personal space.  If you nag him, then you’re only adding to his troubles and he’ll end up getting more annoyed.

2.    Don’t make everything about you.  If you want him to open up to you, then bring the conversation around the things that are happening to him when you are not involved.  You’d be surprised.  Maybe the reason why he hasn’t confided in you is because he doesn’t want to burden you.  Let him know that this is an equal relationship.  His troubles are your troubles.

3.    It’s hard, but you need to stay positive and be on your best behavior.  You’ll lose him faster if you just dwell on the negative.  If you think it’s a good time or when he doesn’t seem too preoccupied, then try to talk things through.

If you want to get a boyfriend to stop breaking up with you, remember to think before you act.  You need to keep in mind that maybe it’s not really you; maybe he really is having a hard time with his life outside your relationship.  Let him know that you’re always there for him and that he can always count on you.
